Barbro Karlén

 

Barbro Karlén was born in May 1954 in Goteborg, Sweden.
Early writing of prose and poetry.
1966 - first publication of Man on Earth (published in English by Kennedy & Sons, now out of print). Of this book over 100'000 copies were sold. The "Wunderkind" appeared in the press as well as in numerous TV or radio programms.
Up to 1972 publication of one or two books per year.Translations into Danish, Norwegian, English.
In the mid-seventies: Police Academy of Stockholm, afterwards over 20 years at the riding police of Goteborg.
Barbro Karlén now lives as a writer in San José, California
